Ingredients
- 1 pound 99% fat free ground turkey
- Reduced sodium packaged taco seasoning
- 1 can organic (no salt added) diced tomatoes
- 2 4 ounce cans of green chilies
- 1 can organic black beans
- 1 can organic pinto beans
- 1 can corn
- 1 green pepper
- 1 onion
- 1 jalapeño
Method
Brown ground turkey in a skillet. While turkey is browning;dice green pepper, onion and jalapeno. When turkey is done, add taco seasoning as directed on the package.
Combine all ingredients in a large stock pot and bring to a simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring often. Cover and allow to cook for 1 and 1/2 hours.
Serve with toppings! Yummy!
Note: This recipe is pretty spicy! If you have sensitive taste, omit the jalapeño! Its just as good with out it!
